Gail Dezall

Gail Dezall is the cornerstone of Olds Community Pharmacy, bringing nearly two decades of experience from multiple pharmacies. With specialized training in custom compression garments, Gail is your go-to expert for all AADL-related questions. Born in Olds, Gail moved away with her husband but later returned to her hometown. She has a passion for golf and would play year-round if Canadian winters allowed. To satisfy her love for the game, she takes a special trip to Mexico every January to get her golf fix.

Raj Tarpara

Raj is the founder of Olds Community Pharmacy and brings over a decade of experience from various corporate pharmacies. As a prescribing pharmacist and a certified Diabetes Educator, Raj is dedicated to continuous learning and expanding his expertise in the pharmacy world. He has also held the status of Certified Respiratory Educator.
In 2024, Raj completed training to open a Pharmacist-Led Weight Loss Clinic at Olds Community Pharmacy, reflecting his commitment to addressing diverse health needs. He is also focusing on further compounding training to enhance the specialized compounding services offered at the pharmacy.
Outside of his professional life, Raj enjoys reading books and spending quality time with his son, engaging in brain teaser games.

Bhoomi Tarpara

Bhoomi Tarpara, as she humorously puts it, was “voluntold” to join the pharmacy team to oversee the expanding compounding services. She primarily focuses on the compounding lab, working closely with Raj. Bhoomi also steps into various roles as needed, from pharmacy assistant to shelf stocker to custodian, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Away from the pharmacy, Bhoomi is a busy mom who loves cooking for her family and traveling. She is an essential part of our team, keeping things from falling apart at times.

Mehul Patel

Mehul Patel is the lively chatterbox of Olds Community Pharmacy. Known for his engaging conversations, you can easily find yourself chatting with Mehul for hours on various topics. To keep things running smoothly at pharmacy, he spends most of his time out in the community, finding projects that makes a difference in our community.
Currently working part-time alongside Raj and Gail, Mehul hopes to become a full-time member of the team soon. In his free time, he enjoys reading life-changing non-fiction books and traveling the world to explore different cultures. If he could have one superpower, it would be the ability to speak every language in the universe.
